However, reapplying with the same information that led to the original refusal is unlikely to succeed. Jennifer will review the reasons for the refusal and help you understand what needs to change before you reapply.

For permanent residence refusals, options may include requests for reconsideration, appeals to the Immigration Appeal Division depending on the type of application, or judicial review through the Federal Court in cases where procedural fairness issues are present.

It is important to act quickly after receiving a refusal. Timelines for certain options are limited and delay can reduce the choices available to you. If your temporary status is also at risk following a refusal, addressing your status situation is urgent.
