You made it to the last part - the BONUS! In this post, I will be talking more about the life and culture, as well as sharing some factors and tips to consider before choosing where to move. These are just suggestions, ultimately choose what is BEST for you!
When it comes to lifestyle and culture, Newfoundland and Ontario are very different places that are unique and exciting in their own ways. Ontario is known for its big cities and natural beauty (the kind you see in the tourism commercials!), and Newfoundland on the other hand, is known for its small towns, tight-knit communities, and laid-back lifestyle. In the larger cities in Ontario, things move at a faster pace, with people often rushing to get things done. But don’t be fooled like me! This more laid-back lifestyle can be found in rural communities across Canada such as Sault Ste. Marie.
Deciding where to live is a big decision, and there are many factors to consider - so be sure to do your research well!
To end, there are things I love about each province that I have lived in and in my opinion, where you want to live can change drastically as you move through the different stages of your life - and that's okay! Ultimately, the end goal is to find a community that is the right fit for you to match your values and goals.
I hope my experiences help you in some way, and if you have more questions to ask or, your own experience to share you can send us an email at info@icavec.ca
